Adult Summer Reading Program
Color Our World | Adult Summer Reading 2025 (Ages 18+)
How It Works:
Sign up for summer reading using the ReadSquared app, online at readsquared.com or come into the library and pick up a paper log.
Every book read gets you entered into the monthly prize drawing for a Color Your World mug (1 prize drawn monthly in June, July, and August).
Every 5 books read get you an entry into one of two Grand Prize Drawings.
Call or stop by the Info desk if you have questions or need help signing up.

Teen Summer Reading Program
Game On | Teen Summer Reading 2025 (Ages 13-17)
Get ready to get your Game On at NDL this summer! This year we're playing Scrabble!
How It Works:
I. Pick up a reading log at the Youth Services Desk.
II. Fill in one square on your log for every one hour you read.
III. Take turns at Scrabble to gain tickets.
Stop by the library during open hours to check-in.
Hours 0-20: Receive a prize from the board for every 2 hours of reading
Hours 21+: Claim tickets to enter into the grand prize drawing bag(s) of your choice.
Tickets
2 hours read = 1 Scrabble tile
Make a word and receive the number of tickets equal to your word score
Kids Summer Reading Program
Color Your World | Kids Summer Reading 2025 (Birth-Age 12)
Add some Color to Your World at NDL this summer!
How It Works:
I. Pick up a reading log at the Youth Services Desk.
II. Color in one icon on your log for every one hour you read.
III. Check-in at the Youth Services Desk any time the library is open.
Hours 0-10: Receive a prize from the board for every 1 hour of reading
Hours 11+: Claim tickets to enter into the grand prize drawing bags of your choice.
