(Ages 18+)

This year, we’re introducing a new way to participate by tracking hours read - making it easier than ever to join the fun and earn prizes.
To participate, you must have a Niles District Library card. Time is tracked in hour increments; color in one era for each hour you read. Claim prizes at the 6,12, and 24 hour marks!
How It Works:
Sign up for summer reading using the ReadSquared app, online at ndlmi.readsquared.com, or come into the library and pick up a paper log. For every 5 hours you read or listen to a book, you'll earn 1 entry into the grand prize drawing.
Prizes:
6 hours: Bookmark
12 hours: Notebook & pen
24 hours: You’ve completed the program! Receive a Digby Dino keychain, a certificate of completion, and an optional social media shoutout.
Grand Prize Drawings (2 winners): Prizes include a Kindle and 2 Indiana Dinosaur Museum passes.
Bonus Opportunity: Complete the challenge activity sheet (available at the Info Desk) to earn 5 extra entries into the grand prize drawing. Attend The Fort St. Joseph Archaeological Project: Summer Program series to get an extra entry into the Grand Prize drawing.
Start reading and discover what treasures await!
