NDL Hikes: Woodcock Hike at Love Creek County Park

Join us for an easy evening on the trails at Love Creek County Park watching the crazy courtship display of the American Woodcock. It’s always a fun way to kick off spring; if you’ve never seen this before, it is a must-see! We’ll start with a short “Woodcock 10 l” session in the nature center and then head out to a location on the trails. Bring binoculars, and a small flashlight for the walk back, and wear warm, darkish-colored clothing.
Location: 9292 Huckleberry Rd #9736, Berrien Center, MI 49102
Suggested supplies: Bug spray, camera, hiking shoes, water, binoculars, a small flashlight, and warm dark-colored clothing.
The library will not be providing transportation to or from this event.
No registration required. You do not need a library card to attend this FREE event.
