Drop-In Tech Help

Do you need a little tech guidance? Meet one-on-one with a Niles District Library team member during our Drop-In Tech Help Event.
This program covers:
- Libby & Hoopla (Downloading ebooks & digital audiobooks)
- Basic computer navigation
- Basic app use
- Basic cellphone use
- Basic tablet use
- General internet instruction
- Mobile Printing
- Using library resources (library account, library catalog, online databases, etc)
We cannot assist with the following:
- Online shopping
- Setting up a new device
- Fixing/Restoring/Repairing a broken or infected device, app, or email account
- Entering sensitive information for you (e.g. credit card information, social security number, online banking, etc.)
- Keyboarding, typing, or proofreading documents
What you need to bring for this event:
- Bring the device you have a question about; smartphone, tablet, or laptop you will also need to bring the charging cord.
- Remember to bring any usernames and passwords you might need so we can work successfully together.
- Staff may not be able to answer all questions; however, if we don’t know the answer, we will do our best to steer you in the right direction.
No registration is required. You do not need a library card to attend this FREE event.
