More Than Books
Niles District Library is so much more than just books these days. Beyond our in-house programming, we strive to provide resources to our community. All services on this page are available FREE to Niles District Library cardholders.

Eleanor and Mowitt Drew Gallery
Located in the Rotunda, the Eleanor and Mowitt Drew Gallery features work from area artists. Check out the Gallery walls to see what is currently featured.
Seed Library
Seed libraries help communities. Saving and sharing seeds, particularly locally adapted varieties, helps us build a more secure food supply.
Providing seeds for free also encourages our community to learn and practice gardening and the art of growing your own food.
How It Works: You can choose up to 10 varieties of seeds to plant in your garden. After you have harvested your plants, dry some of the seeds to bring back to the library and keep our seed library going.
Library of Things
Our Library of Things has something for everyone! Gadgets, tools, board games, yard games, party supplies and more.
Need something for a one-time event or use? Want to try something out before you buy? Search our library of things to see if we have it.
