Special Urban Sketching Event at the Chapin Mansion
Wednesday, December 4 | 10 am – 12 pm | Niles History Center Chapin Mansion | Ages 18+
What is Urban Sketching? The act of drawing on location, indoors or outdoors, to capture what the sketchers see from direct observation. Join the Niles District Library and the Niles Art Association anytime between 10 am – 12 pm for a very special Urban Sketching session.
We will meet indoors at the Niles History Center Chapin Mansion (508 E Main St, Niles, MI 49120)
Supplies: A chair, sketch pad, sketching medium (pencil, pen, etc.), no paints inside this location. If you do not have a sketch pad or pencil, no worries the library will provide a pad and pencils for the day.
Please bring your sketch to the next Niles Art Association Meeting to display during our show and tell. The Niles Art Association meets on the first Tuesday of the month at the Niles District Library from 6 – 7:30 pm.
No registration required. You do not need a library card to attend this FREE event.
