Hike Update! NDL Hikes: The Creation of the Great Lakes at Love Creek County Park
Due to the forecast for possible thunderstorms, today’s hike has been canceled for the safety of all participants.
The hike has been postponed to Saturday, September 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Join Berrien County Parks Naturalist Katy Swanson for The Creation of the Great Lakes, an engaging presentation in the nature center, followed by a guided hike to Love Creek. Wade into the water to explore rocks and fossils up close! Water shoes or rain boots are required if you plan to enter the creek.
Directions: Love Creek County Park, 9292 Huckleberry Road, Berrien Center, MI 49102
Suggested Supplies: Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes for uneven terrain and dress in weather-appropriate, comfortable clothing. Bring water, binoculars, and a camera if you’d like to take photos. Hiking poles can also be helpful. Water shoes or rain boots if you plan on entering the creek.

- Parking is available in the park.
- There are restrooms available at this location.
- The library will not be providing transportation to or from this event.
No registration is required. You do not need a library card to attend this FREE event.
