Four-week Improv Comedy Workshop meeting weekly on Saturdays: January 11 – February 1 | Youth Services Department | 1 – 3 pm | High School Teens
Join us for a fun and interactive improv workshop where we will explore the art of improvisational comedy! Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their creativity and have a good laugh. Lead by Stephen Kadwell
Stephen studied theatre at Western Michigan University before moving to Orlando, Florida. While in the Sunshine State, he worked at both Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World Resorts in entertainment. Stephen is a founder of the Orlando improv group Offsides. He also worked his way through the ranks of SAK Comedy Lab and served as an Associate Artistic Director before moving back north. Stephen has completed the Second City Conservatory and iO training programs. While in Chicago Stephen played on an iO Harold team, as well as an independent team, and directed The Improvised Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, Improv Sabotage, and Game Set Match. He has performed at several festivals around the country both with Offsides and as part of a two-person improvised noir called No Third Man.
