NDL: Hikes: Trillium Woodlands Preserve\nDUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS\, THE HIKE START TIME HAS BEEN CHANGED TO 11 AM. \nSaturday\, April 18 | 11am – 12:30pm | Trillium Woodland Preserve | All Ages \nExplore the Trillium Woodland Preserve this spring with Chikaming Open Lands’ Education & Outreach Coordinator\, Grace Fredenburg.  Discover the preserve’s diverse plant community and enjoy an abundance of spring wildflowers\, including the striking Great White Trillium (Trillium grandiflorum)\, one of three trillium species that inspired the preserve’s name. \nPlease arrive early\, as the hike will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m.\n\nAddress: 1660 Riverside Rd\, Niles\, MI 49120\nHike Description: This is an easy-to-moderate hike with occasional elevation changes. \nSuggested Supplies: \n\nDue to recent rain\, trail conditions may be muddy. Please wear sturdy\, waterproof shoes suitable for uneven terrain\, and dress in comfortable\, weather-appropriate clothing.\nWe also recommend bringing water\, binoculars\, and a camera if you’d like to take photos. All donated items will support the Craft Supply Swap on Saturday\, May 2\, 2026. Please see details below.\nHow It Works \n\nNew or gently used craft supplies only; all items must be clean and usable.\nVIP Access: Donors receive one VIP ticket for early entry to the swap.\nBring a Bag: You’ll need your own bag to collect your new craft treasures.\nEverything Is Free! Any leftover supplies will be donated to a local charity.\n\n \nCraft Supply Swap\nDo you have craft supplies you are no longer using? Are you looking for new creative ideas? Join us for the Craft Supply Swap on Saturday\, May 2nd. The Swap begins at 11:30 am for the general public and ends at 2:30 pm\, or until all supplies are gone.
