DESCRIPTION:1st Saturdays: December 7 –  March 1 | 2 – 4 pm | Lower Level | Ages 8+ \nJoin us for an afternoon of Nerf gameplay filled with fun and adventure! Grab your Nerf blasters and get ready for an action-packed day of games and excitement!\nPre-registration is required. Please call 269-683-8545 to register.  \n\nA Waiver of Liability must signed before the event (waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian if under 18 years old).\nYou must be eight years old or older to participate. Children under the age of ten years old must have a parent with them at all times.\nAnyone participating must wear protective eyewear during active gameplay; prescription eyeglasses are allowed.\nGame day sign-in begins at 1 pm in the Community Room. Game play will start at 2 pm.\n\nSupplies for game day: \n\nYour Nerf Blaster (the library has limited blasters available for use.) Walk-ins are welcome.  \nWhat to Expect: \n\nLearn exciting improv games and techniques inspired by shows like Whose Line is It Anyway?\nDevelop your spontaneity and confidence in a supportive environment\nConnect with fellow comedy enthusiasts and enjoy a night of laughter!\n\nNo library card is needed—admission is free! \nFor more information about this program or other library services please email programming@nileslibrary.net or call Niles District Library at 269-683-8545. \nLead by Stephen Kadwell\nStephen studied theatre at Western Michigan University before moving to Orlando\, Florida. While in the Sunshine State\, he worked at both Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World Resorts in entertainment. Stephen is a founder of the Orlando improv group Offsides. He also worked his way through the ranks of SAK Comedy Lab and served as an Associate Artistic Director before moving back north. Stephen has completed the Second City Conservatory and iO training programs. While in Chicago Stephen played on an iO Harold team\, as well as an independent team\, and directed The Improvised Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson\, Improv Sabotage\, and Game Set Match. He has performed at several festivals around the country both with Offsides and as part of a two-person improvised noir called No Third Man.
