DESCRIPTION:Niles Art Association: Jonathan Nashel\, Professor of History\, Indiana University\, South Bend\, presenting his photographic series\, Motorbikes\, Motion\, and Vietnam — a dynamic visual journey through the streets and spirit of Vietnam. \nMonthly on the First Tuesday\, April – December | 6 pm – 7:30 pm | Community Room | All Ages \nOur Mission:\nLocal artists dedicated to enriching our community through the arts. \nWho We Are:\nWe are a vibrant group of local artists and art supporters\, united by our shared passion for enhancing the community through artistic expression. Our members explore a wide variety of visual arts\, including drawing\, painting\, fiber art\, wood carving\, photography\, pottery\, jewelry\, metal art\, graphic design\, and digital art. \nWhat We Do:\nThe Niles Art Association meets from April to December on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM at the Niles District Library. Each meeting begins with a brief business session\, followed by an engaging art-related program. These programs can include demonstrations of various artistic techniques\, presentations on influential artists\, or hands-on mini-workshops. We also host a “show and tell\,” where members share their latest creations or works in progress.
